Principal's Message

Dear Students, Families, and Community Members,

It is with great excitement and deep gratitude that I introduce myself as the new Principal of Oak
Street School. I am honored to join this incredible community and to have the opportunity to
lead a school that serves students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade—each at a
unique and important stage of their educational journey.

From the moment I stepped onto campus, I could sense the pride, warmth, and dedication that
define Oak Street School. This is clearly a place where students are supported, families are
engaged, and learning is meaningful. I am eager to build strong partnerships with all of you as
we continue to nurture a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment for every student.

As we begin this new chapter together, my focus will be on listening, learning, and
collaborating—with staff, students, and families. Together, we will celebrate the strengths of our
school and work to build on the solid foundation already in place. Whether in the classroom, on
the playground, or at school events, my goal is to be present and engaged, ensuring that every
student feels seen, heard, and supported.

I believe that every child can learn and succeed, and it is our collective responsibility to provide
them with the tools, encouragement, and opportunities to do so. I look forward to working
alongside our talented teachers and dedicated staff to provide an exceptional TK–8 experience
for all.

Thank you for welcoming me into this vibrant school community. I’m excited for the journey
ahead—and for all we will accomplish together this year.

Warmly,
Tara Armstrong-Booth
